Hi, I’m Clancy! I am a Creative Director with a passion for telling stories that close the gap between people.
My love of film started with documentary, where I was drawn to how stories can drive people to action and bring us closer together. I earned my Master's in Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School, with a focus in documentary film and video journalism, and a degree in Geography with special research in Geology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
I've approached video from every angle: documentary, broadcast journalism, nonprofit and education, and commercial advertising. The thread that runs through all of it is the same. Stories, whether personal or brand, editorial or commercial, work best when they start with something true.
Today I work as Creative Director at Clum Creative where we produce live action, animation and interactive video for clients around the globe. Along the way I've created work for TIME Magazine, The Smithsonian Museum, BBC News, MSNBC, BuzzFeed, CBS, the Associated Press, and more. I’d be thrilled to work with you too!
