I am a freelance Filmmaker, Creator, and Traveler with a mission to help others.

I believe that showing audiences different places and ways of life reminds them to be empathetic global citizens. It’s my hope that my work inspires others to understand people, and do their part to help build a more compassionate society that is full of wonder.

I have worked as a video producer for the Chicago Tribune, the Academy-Award winning documentary production house, Kartemquin Films, and as an editor on the MSNBC original series Ricochet about Chicago gun violence which won the Peter Lisagor Award for Best Use of Online Video.

I have a Master's in Journalism with a specialty in film and broadcast from Northwestern University's Medill program, as well as a degree in Geography with special research in Geology, which yielded a scientific publication about water sanitation, from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

As a student, I created the geography-based web series Geo Talks with Clancy in order to gain experience in all aspects of production, as well as learn how to craft a brand. From that, I've developed my current mission to make documentary films focusing on social issues, dissent, travel, and environment.

I’m based in the Queen City: Cincinnati, Ohio. My clients have included BBC News, BuzzFeed News, CBS, the Associated Press, as well as many non-profits and corporations… and I’d be thrilled to work with you too.
